Bioidentical / Body-identical MHT

Bioidentical or body-identical MHT is MHT made from a plant source composed of the exact same structure to that of ovarian hormones. Studies suggest it is the safest form of MHT from a breast, cardiac, and VTE perspective.

The body-identical MHT that is prescribed in the clinic is a regulated product which is licensed by the HPRA. The clinic does not prescribe compounded bioidentical hormones which are unregulated products and not privy to the strict quality checks imposed on licensed regulated products.
